Thank you for keeping us all updated. There is a lot to do but there is also a lot being done or at least started already.
I am reading Van Jones' book THE GREEN COLLAR ECONOMY and I recommend it highly. He makes very clear and compelling arguments for moving to a more sustainable lifestyle and pints out how much of that can be accomplished through simple fixes to our built environment. It's amazing what a caulk gun and weatherstripping can do for an exiting home. Add insulation and upgrade windows and doors and by golly we have real savings and if you go hog wild and add energy efficient HVAC systems or solar panels you could match new construction in efficiency at far less real cost.

Thanks for your comment. I am interested in the book you recommend, (" I am reading Van Jones' book THE GREEN COLLAR ECONOMY and I recommend it highly.)...This gives me an idea...I think I will ask the folks at the ECO-All-Stars Group to send me a reading list so that we can ail learn...maybe a green book club??
Hi JaneAnne,
Great post! I feel a challenge coming :-)
Even more impressive is the 'Handrafted Survey' for Buyers that you have on your website. I believe you are the first that I have seen that has a questionnaire that addresses green interest. Any chance I can borrow the idea?

I worked for almost a year to develop the idea of a focus toward the sustainability and GREEN survey with my programmers. It is an exciting idea, I think, and one I am happy to share.
