From the first to the last breath we take we human beings, it seems, come equipped with a radar for 
relationships. I know some people who smile just thinking about "Mom and Apple Pie." (a la mode some might add)
How a need for relationships emerges in attachment to objects, according to some theorists, could influence your attraction to your homeplace whether you live in Asheville, NC or Paris, France.
Try this: Imagine standing on the railroad tracks that run deep in the woods - you hear the sound of a stream, you feel the warmth of the sun as light filters down through the trees, and, as you follow a deer trail, just over there, as if by magic, the home of your dreams appears....
Look inside. What do you see? Granite counter tops? Stainless steel energy efficient appliances? Beautiful recycled wood floors? A soaring ceiling with natural light dancing down ? And a kitchen island where children are doing homework? And the aroma of apple pie is in the air? When you think about it, your attraction to your home place is an expression, or an indication of your feeling, spirit, and character.

My suggestion to buyers: make a wish list in fact make two. The first list.. money is no object because you just hit the lottery. The second..the numbers were transposed...you did not win. Now what are your must haves for each family member. It's fun and it works!

JaneAnne - The strange thing in my own life, is I had one of those "must have" lists, especially for certain "things." I reached a point, where I had accummulated too many things. I finally set a line in the sand, and decided to clean everything out of my rooms - one room at a time, and assess the importance in my life. I kept few things. I was also surprised at the amount of new energy which seemed to enter my life.
